LOVE IS LOVE. ALL ARE WELCOME HERE. APART FROM BIGOTS.
alright alright alright
Welcome! I’m Kate Bunny (yes that’s really my middle name). I'm from south London, and have just spent the last nine years in California. I still have my accent, and am overjoyed to be back in my beloved hometown.
Photos and the memories that live in them are the most important things in the world to me. I find myself wanting to document EVERYTHING to recall the memories for future old lady Kate with pink hair and 100 cats in tow. I would love to give you those memories too, in photos full of joy you can hold in your hand or tuck under your pillow.
At your wedding, I promise that I’ll immediately make you feel relaxed, happy and badass. Honestly, you wouldn’t hate being stuck in a lift with me. Which has happened. We had to get rescued by firefighters.
Your wedding day is just that, yours. You’ll get to experience it, fully, and I’ll be there to capture every organic, storybook, moment. Making sure you have beautiful images is what should take up my entire day, not yours.
ABOUT ME
I’ve lensed over 150 celebrations (my favourite being my best friend's in Italy).
The Queen’s husband once insulted me. it was hilarious. remind me to tell you about it.
I won a poker tournament a few years ago, despite not knowing poker (and even keep the trophy on my mantelpiece).
I value honesty so if something isn't looking good, I'll tell you and we can shift it.
A legend from Pulp Fiction shared his vegan pizza with me at a wedding, after I joked about murdering him. The resulting photo is priceless.
I firmly believe that kindness wins and for that reason I volunteer a lot, including currently as a surf coach and mentor for Groundswell COMMUNITY PROJECT.
I live for the moment 100% and recognize that your wedding day is a once in a lifetime experience.
A Polaroid should actually be laid flat somewhere dark. I like to tuck ‘em in my armpit for a couple of minutes.
I’ve been obsessed with analog photography since 1981, when on my sixth birthday I was given a little red camera.
Forty years of shooting film later (it hurt to type that), I am now a film only wedding photographer.
My new course - The Analogue Anarchist’s Guide to Film Photography - does not encourage busting out your best OutKast impression.
It does, however, teach you how to shoot film from beginning to end.
If you want to add analogue photography into your wedding workflow, and have fun doing it, this is for you.
